Penetanguishene and area is fortunate to have a rich and colorful history that reflects its three founding cultures – Aboriginal, French and British.  Incorporated on February 22, 1882, this thriving community has grown to approximately 10,000 residents. 

The Town offers numerous amenities as well as an array of recreational activities and tourism attractions.
