This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to inform residents that reconstruction work on Simcoe Street between Norse Trail and Main Street will begin the week of August 2nd.
This project is scheduled to be completed over a period of approximately eight to ten weeks and will include the installation of a new storm sewer, sanitary sewer and a watermain. The existing road surface will also be upgraded to reflect the Town standard for urban residential areas. During the reconstruction work residents and businesses are asked to park their vehicles within their respective driveways, parking areas or on adjacent side streets.
