Municipal Elections

Voting is a fundamental right of our democracy. When you vote, you are selecting representatives who will make the laws and policies that determine how our Town functions and how we live together.

The Town of Penetanguishene abides by the following principles when conducting the Town's election:

• Secrecy and confidentiality of the individual vote
• Election is fair and non-biased
• Election is accessible to the voters
• Certainty that results reflect votes cast
