Business Licensing (Taxi, Bed and Breakfast, Sale of Fireworks and Refreshments) It is a strategic goal of the Town to meet its legislative requirements and to ensure the health, safety and well-being of persons within the municipality. The current Town Business Licensing By-law (currently under review in 2012) outlines provisions for licenses for Taxi Cab Drivers, Brokers and Owners, Bed and Breakfasts, Refreshment Vehicles and Stands, Vendors, Hawkers and Peddlers as well as the selling of Fireworks. The Municipal Act 2001 also allows for a municipality to require a license for Tow Truck Companies and Drivers as well as Adult Entertainment Establishments for which is currently under review.
