Notice of the Passing of A Comprehensive Zoning By-Law

On June 8th, 2022 the Town of Penetanguishene passed By- law 2022-17 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13 affecting all lands in the Town of Penetanguishene.

Public consultation on the Comprehensive Zoning By-law was provided through notice circulated on January 20, 2022; an Open House held on February 15, 2022; and a Public Meeting held on February 23, 2022. Additional notice was provided by newspaper and social media. The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Penetanguishene considered all written and oral submissions received as part of the decision-making process as discussed in Reports PL-2021-52, PL-2022- 06, and PL-2022-18.

The complete By-law is available for inspection at the Planning and Community Development Department during regular office hours at 10 Robert Street West, Penetanguishene or by calling 705-549-7453 extension 215.

An appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) with respect to the By-law may be made by filing a Notice of Appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection no later than July 6, 2022,
