Take a walk with the staff of the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives and learn about the significance of the statues and sculptures in Rotary Champlain Wendat Park. Tickets must be pre-purchased and are available by contacting the museum at museum@penetanguishene.ca or through SNAP'D Midland website. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to tour time. A reminder that the meeting place is 8 Owen St. Penetanguishene (site of the curling club). During this period where many of us are sticking close to home, why not take an opportunity to learn a little more about the history of the community you live in? Join the staff of the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives on a historical walking tour of downtown Penetanguishene. Take a step back in time to when oxen roamed the streets and fur traders came to our shores. Learn the history of and view original photographs of, many of the current homes and businesses on Water and Main Streets. Tickets must be pre-purchased and are available by contacting the museum at museum@penetanguishene.ca or 705-549-2150 Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to tour time.
