Giving for a Cause is a fun, relaxed, social event that pools together donations from people in our community to support and sustain local charities now and forever. New this year, men and women are invited to participate. A $100 donation to Huronia Community Foundation, provides you with a form to nominate your local charity of choice. A draw takes place on Wednesday, October 2nd at 6pm at Restaurant Sainte-Marie, with three charities chosen at random. All in attendance cast their vote to select which charity will receive 50% of the money donated PLUS have the remaining 50% placed in an Endowment Fund in their name. The creation of an Endowment Fund is a unique and important part of this fundraising initiative as it will ensure sustainability for the winning charity for years to come. We would love to have you join us for complimentary hors d'oeuvres, cash bar and live entertainment. Visit www.givingforacause.ca and click on the DONATE NOW button. Huronia Community Foundation will issue a charitable receipt for each donation and guarantees that 100% of every donation will go to the chosen charity.
