Council meetings are typically held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month starting at 7:00 p.m. During the COVID-19 closure of our Townhall, Council meetings will be held once monthly and virtually until further notice. Our meeting calendar with links to agendas and minutes can be found here.
The virtual Council Meetings will be live-streamed here. All meetings are being recorded and made available on the Town's YouTube Channel.
How Can I Participate?
In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we've had to make some adjustments to the way the community can participate in Committee of the Whole and Council meetings. If you would like to provide input regarding an agenda item you must pre-register by submitting the Request before the Monday prior to the meeting. The Clerk will contact all registrants with confirmation of details. Please include the following information:

Any person requesting a Zoom Video or Zoom Phone Call on the Monday before the meeting will receive meeting details from the Clerk the Tuesday before the meeting. Anyone submitting comments only will be read out by the Clerk during the meeting on your behalf.
If you do not wish to participate in the meeting but would like to provide comment on any agenda item, you may send your email to the Clerk and your comments will be circulated to Council and Staff in advance of the meeting.
The most formal setting for Council meetings where members discuss and vote on issues before the Municipality. Proceedings publicly address matters of business, By-laws, policy, and the general affairs of local governance. Meetings commence at 7:00pm on the second Wednesday of each month (subject to change). Confidential Meetings of Council (Closed Session/In-Camera Items)
Council meets to the exclusion of the public, as allowed by law. Topics are generally related to issues relating to legal matters, land and labour issues. Meetings are called as required.
