2021 COVID Temporary Financial Relief Measures:

During the Stay-at-Home Order, penalties for the April 30 Property Tax due date, 1st quarter Utility Bill due date of May 13 and monthly Utility Bill due dates of April 30 and May 27 were waived.  Penalties on all tax and utility arrears will be reinstated effective Thursday, June 10, 2021.

The Finance Department is responsible for the financial management and general reception for the Town, including: 

  • Sale of Land by Public Tender: Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land(s) described in individual notices listed here
  • Administering the general insurance program
  • Coordinating the preparation of Annual Operating and Capital Budget and Four Year Capital Forecast  
  • Customer Service - we are the central point of contact for the public to access the Town's many services and programs and for payment processing
  • Directing and monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Managing information technology for the Municipality
  • Preparing financial reports for staff and Council and various levels of Government
  • Processing payroll
  • Tax Billing and Payment Options
  • Water Billing and Payment Options
  • Municipal Capital Grant Program
