The Town of Penetanguishene offers a few different options when it comes to beaches for enjoying the warm weather. Rotary Champlain Wendat Park and Huronia Park all offer sandy beaches, great swimming areas along with other amenities including playgrounds, pavilions, washrooms and much more. Accessible by foot or by car these beaches are a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Japanese Bunka Shishu Embroidery Thread Art Exposition

  • Meet the artist and talk about this beautiful art form. Isabel will be on site a limited number of days. Contact the museum for more details.

DIY Jewelery Workshop

  • Join us for a DIY Workshop making 3 Crystal Elastic Bracelets.

  • Time: 10:30 AM to 12PM
  • Travel back in time with us! Running every other Wednesday in the summer, join us to make and take a fun historical item and learn about the lives of the past! Each week will be a different theme (soap, butter, toys, and candles).
  • For Ages 5 - 12 years
