RFP 2019-15 - Main Street Art Project
The Town of Penetanguishene is seeking submissions from qualified artists with public art experience to propose a public art installation at the “Harbour Lookout” location in downtown Penetanguishene which is located in front of 79 and 83 Main Street.
Draft 2019 Development Charges Background Study
The Corporation of the Town of Penetanguishene is in the process of updating our Development Charges Background Study and By-law. A Public Meeting will be held on June 12, 2019, with formal Notice being issued by the Town at least 20 days prior to this date, as per the Development Charges Act.
Traffic Semi-Annual Inspection - Main Street
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to advise the residents and businesses that Walker's Electric will be working in conjunction with OPP, on the traffic lights, perform the semi-annual inspection, along Main Street from Thompsons Road to Beck Boulevard, on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 starting at 9:00 am until approximately 1:00 pm.
Penetanguishene Public Transit Survey
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to advise the riders of the Penetanguishene Public Transit and the public that you still have time to complete the transit survey.
Notice- Spring Clean Up
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to inform the residents/businesses that the Road Division will be commencing spring cleanup at midnight 12:00 am to 7:00 am, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 for the week (weather permitting).
Reminder of Parking Regulations within the downtown area
The Town would like to remind all business owners, patrons and residents that the current posted signage restricts the duration for which vehicles may be parked on streets in the downtown area.
