Repost from November 18, 2020 – Mid-Pen Transit riders can now reload their transit SmartCards from the comfort of their homes or on their mobile devices when they’re on the go using the new Mid-Pen Transit Service Online Portal.
Town of Penetanguishene Purchases Property at 51 Dunlop Street
(Penetanguishene) - The Town of Penetanguishene has finalized an Agreement to purchase a 13-acre property from the Simcoe County District School Board. The property is located at 51 Dunlop Street – the site of the former Penetanguishene Secondary School.
Road Closure – Beck Boulevard from Burke Street to Wolfe Street January 5, 2021
This notice has been updated by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to inform you that Beck Boulevard will be closed between Burke Street and Wolfe Street, on Tuesday, January 6th, 2021 between the hours of 8:00 am until the completion of the repair.

There is no question that this year has affected each and every one of us in different ways. Members of our community have reached out and asked Council for support in spreading hope, peace, and good health through a “Noise Explosion Celebration” on January 1st, 2021.
Town of Penetanguishene offers Municipal Services by appointment only, effective January 4, 2021
December 23, 2020 – With the provinces decision to move all areas into the Grey-Lockdown level of the COVID-19 Response Framework for the 28 day period, the Town of Penetanguishene Municipal Offices will be offering appointment only services and closed to public effective January 4, 2021 at 8:30a.m. As a reminder, the Municipal Office will be closed for the holidays, December 24, 2020 at 12 noon to January 4, 2021. For any urgent emergencies regarding Roads or Water services please call the after-hour line: 705-527-8210.
