Penetanguishene Council Supports the Protestant Separate School Board

(Penetanguishene) – On October 14, 2020, Council passed a resolution in support of the Protestant Separate School Board in their appeal to the Province of Ontario and Ministry of Education. This resolution was followed by a letter addressed to the MPP Simcoe North Jill Dunlop and the Ministry of Education which outlined the Towns support.

Commencing Keefe Street Retaining Wall Project

The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise residents that the Keefe Street Retaining Wall Project will commence tomorrow, November 10th, 2020, with the contractor, R.G. Peel Construction Ltd. This work will involve the replacement of the deteriorating retaining wall on the southeast corner of Keefe Street and Burke Street and will result in an updated retaining wall that is both aesthetically appealing and structurally safe.

Road Closure – Don Street from Church Street to Fox Street

This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene to inform you that Don Street will be closed between Church Street and Fox Street, on Friday, October 30thth, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 am until the completion of the repair.
