Celebrate Penetanguishene’s 150th Anniversary with a Day Full of Community Events!

The Town of Penetanguishene is excited to invite residents and visitors to a full day of celebration on Saturday, September 13, 2025, marking the town’s 150th Anniversary, while also participating in Doors Open and Simcoe County’s Week of Welcome. 

This one-day celebration will feature multiple events at various locations across town, offering something for everyone—families, history enthusiasts, and newcomers alike!

Doors Open Location #1:
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: Penetanguishene Centennial Museum, 13 Burke St. 
Admission: FREE 

Penetanguishene 150 Community BBQ
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Penetanguishene Centennial Museum, 13 Burke St.
