Emergency Road Closure for Sewage Lateral Repair

The Town of Penetanguishene advises residents and motorists that an emergency road closure will be implemented to facilitate a sewage lateral repair at the intersection of Brock Street, Robert Street East, and Louise Street. A map of the affected area is attached for reference.

The road closure will take effect at 4:00 p.m. and will remain in place until the repair work has been completed, approximately 8:00 p.m.

As a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of Roads and Public Works staff, the closure area has been extended to Clarence Avenue. Temporary traffic disruptions and restricted local access may occur during this time.

Motorists and pedestrians are requested to exercise caution in the area and to adhere to all posted signage and traffic control measures.
