Flags lowered to half-mast in honour of Tumbler Ridge tragedy

 

The Town of Penetanguishene stands with the people of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, following the heartbreaking incident that occurred earlier this week. The violence at the local secondary school and a nearby home has led to an immense loss of life and left many others injured, leaving the entire community in shock and grief.

As a sign of respect for the victims and in unity with communities across Canada, flags in Penetanguishene have been lowered to half‑mast.
