Fox Street & Navy Lane Road Closure & Water Interruption: June 3, 2026

The Town of Penetanguishene advises that Fox Street at Navy Lane will be closed on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and continuing until completion of necessary water main repair work. During this time, access to the area will be restricted, and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area. Local traffic and Emergency Services will continue to have access; however, all residents and motorists are asked to observe posted signage and follow the directions of flag persons to ensure safety during this time.

During the repair work, properties within the affected area may experience a loss of water service. Upon restoration of the water supply, you may notice a temporary change in water colour. To ensure water quality, residents are advised to remove faucet screens (aerators) and run all taps for 5–10 minutes to flush air and any residual sediment from the plumbing system.
