Notice of Pre-Construction Public Information Session for Phase 1 of the Navy Lane Drainage Improvements Project
This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene to inform residents/businesses that a pre-construction public information session will be held for Phase 1 of the Navy Lane Drainage Improvements Project on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The meeting will take place within the Council Chambers of the Town Office, located at 10 Robert Street West, Penetanguishene.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public and residents the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Town and its engineering consultant, Greenland Consulting Engineers so that any questions or concerns can be addressed prior to construction.
The scope of the work proposed within the Navy Lane unopened right-of-way, between Church Street and Penetanguishene Harbour, will include the following:
- Clearing and grubbing of trees within the Navy Lane right-of-way between Church Street and Penetanguishene Harbour;
- Excavation and Construction of a Drainage Channel between Church Street and Penetanguishene Harbour.
- Installation of road crossing culverts at the intersections of Navy Lane at Church Street and Jury Drive.
- Road and Vegetation Restoration works within Navy Lane

This notice has been delivered by mail to properties located adjacent to the project limits.
