Notice of Reclamite Installation

This notice is to inform residents and businesses that the Town of Penetanguishene along with Superior Road Products will be installing a preventative road maintenance treatment on the following roads on Tuesday August 19, 2025. This project will take approximately one (1) day to complete, weather permitting.

-   Maria Street (Edward Street to Robert Street East)

-   Simcoe Street (Fox Street to Main Street)

-   Scott Street (Water Street to Robert Street West)

-   Sheridan Street (Peel Street to Chatham Street)

-   Harriet Street (Edward Street to Robert Street East)

Lane restrictions will occur during the application process. Please observe all signs and flag persons. The sand cover used on the asphalt surface will be removed on the same day of the sealing application. Please use caution when driving on the loose sand. If you accidentally enter a freshly treated area that has not been sanded, the sealer can be removed from a vehicle with a pressure washer and degreaser soap.
