Notice of Retaining Wall Replacement and Road Closure: Burke Street
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to advise residents and motorists that a retaining wall replacement project will be commencing on or near August 14th, 2023. The project will involve the removal of the existing retaining wall in front of 71 Burke Street, and the installation of a new retaining wall.
The project is anticipated to take two (2) weeks to complete and will involve the installation of temporary traffic control measures that will close Burke Street between Church Street and Fox Street to ensure the safety of the construction site, pedestrians, and vehicular traffic. The road closure will occur from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm daily until the completion of the project.
