Notice of Road Closure: Church Street & Navy Lane

The Town of Penetanguishene would like to inform residents, businesses, and visitors that Charles Morden Construction will be completing repairs to a manhole located at the intersection of Church Street and Navy Lane.

As a result, the intersection will be closed to all traffic on Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 17, 2026.

Important Access Information

  • There will be no access to Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care via Lower Road during the closure.
  • Motorists are asked to follow posted detour routes and allow additional travel time.
  • Emergency services are advised to use Fuller Avenue to access Waypoint during this period.

The Town thanks residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation while this work is completed.
