Notice of Signalized Crosswalk Installations
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise pedestrians and motorists that signalized crosswalks are going to be installed at the following intersection the week of August 1, 2023. The signaled intersection will be activated as of August 8th, 2023.
- Owen Street and Robert Street West
- Fox Street and Church Street
The signalized crosswalk will require that motorists stop at the designated stop bars when the crosswalk lights are flashing, and only progress once the lights have stopped flashing. This will provide pedestrian traffic with a safe, controlled crossing location.
