Parking Regulations Reminder

With the start of summer, Penetanguishene will be ramping up efforts to enforce parking regulations and will be issuing tickets for violations to ensure public safety and efficient parking operations.

The Municipal Law Enforcement Officers will be increasing patrols throughout the downtown core and conducting spot checks in private parking areas to ensure that regulations are being followed. Any violators will be issued a ticket immediately. The fine for each violation will vary depending on the severity of the infraction.

The Town encourages everyone to familiarize themselves and comply with the bylaw. The bylaw can be read in full, here.

Vehicles violating these regulations will be ticketed and may be towed at the owner's expense. The Town urges all residents to comply with these parking regulations and help keep the streets clear for parking operations and emergency vehicles.
