Penetanguishene Centennial Museum Anncouces Meet the Spirits, A Driving Scavenger Hunt

Meet the Spirits Driving Scavenger Hunt

October 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, 30th – November 1st

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

No charge

It is time to "raise some spirits!" This October, hop in the car with your family, friends or by yourself, and participate in a good old-fashioned ghost hunt.

The Penetanguishene Centennial Museum is hosting ‘Meet the Spirits,’ a driving scavenger hunt that visits eleven different locations from Penetanguishene’s history. Community members are able to participate in the scavenger hunt Thursday to Sunday from the second weekend in October until the first weekend in November.

Simply download the app ActionBound and be "spirited" away on an adventure that will take you to 11 different sites, where you will meet people of Penetanguishene's ghostly past. Correct answers to quizzes along the way will allow you to "pass on" to the next destination and awaiting spirit.

Best of all the whole event is FREE!!

Your starting place is the porch of the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives.

We ask that you restrict your hunt within the posted timelines, 10am – 6:30 pm, respect property lines and use street parking only or public parking lots.

We would like to thank all the property owners who have allowed us to use their locations as stations, as well as the Friends of the Museum who have generously sponsored the event.

Last but not least, be sure to post a selfie of yourself on the tour to one of our social media sites in order to be eligible for our random draw.
