Proposed 2027 Water Rates, Fees and Charges Updates

The Town of Penetanguishene is providing notice of proposed updates to municipal rates, fees and charges for 2027 through amendments to the following by-laws:

  • Water Regulation By-law #2025-08, including updates to water rates and fees in accordance with the Town’s approved Water and Wastewater Financial Plan.
  • Fees and Charges By-law, which establishes fees for a wide range of municipal services provided by the Town.

The proposed amendments will be presented to Council for consideration at the October 21, 2026 Council Meeting. If approved, the updated rates, fees and charges will take effect on January 1, 2027.

Residents are encouraged to review the proposed changes before Council's consideration. Details can be found in the October 21, 2026 Council Agenda.
