Seeking Applications for Town Advisory Committees/Boards

The Town of Penetanguishene relies on the expertise of volunteers in the community and appoints approximately 55 public appointments to one of the many boards and committees.

Currently, Penetanguishene has vacancies in two committees; The Transit Committee, which is an advisory committee reporting to the Transportation and Environmental Services Section Committee of Council and the new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee created to improve municipal practices for social inclusion, establish policies to eradicate racism and discrimination, and promote human rights and diversity.

Those who wish to apply must submit an application form to the Town Clerk, Stacey Cooper. A listing and description of all advisory committees can be found on the Town website.  A copy of the application form is available online or may be picked up at Townhall. Supplementary information (i.e. resumes, cover letters) may be attached with the application.
