Temporary Road Closure Notice – Bellisle Road Crosswalk Installation

The Town of Penetanguishene, in partnership with JDM Lines, would like to advise residents and motorists of a temporary road closure on Bellisle Road, between Gignac Drive and Thompsons Road West, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, until approximately 8:00 p.m.

The closure is required to facilitate the installation of a raised pedestrian crossover and flashing pedestrian crossing lights, enhancing safety and accessibility for pedestrians in the area.

Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour signage. Local access will be maintained for residents directly affected by the closure.

The Town appreciates your patience and cooperation while this important infrastructure improvement is completed.
