Temporary Road Closure Notice – Robert Street West Crosswalk Installations

The Town of Penetanguishene, in partnership with JDM Lines, would like to advise residents and motorists of a temporary road closure on Robert Street West between Owen Street and Centre Street on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, until approximately 8:00 p.m.

The closure is required to facilitate the installation of raised pedestrian crosswalks.

Local traffic will still be permitted through Scott Street. The closure is limited to the intersection areas where the raised crosswalks are being installed, allowing the new infrastructure to be placed and properly set without vehicle traffic.

Please note that the Midland Penetanguishene Transit route will be detoured during this time, as indicated in green on the attached map.
