Temporary Sidewalk Closure – Main Street
This notice is to inform residents and businesses that staff have been monitoring potential impacts to the exterior upper structure of 83 Main Street, which was identified over the weekend following a small roof fire earlier last week.
As a precaution, the Town is implementing a temporary sidewalk closure along Main Street in this area (map attached). This closure includes 83 Main Street and one adjacent building on either side, affecting approximately four businesses and residential tenants above.
The Main Street sidewalk and select parking spaces in this section are closed, and pedestrian access is restricted in the immediate area for safety reasons. Business access from Peel Street remains available. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we take these necessary precautions to ensure public safety.
