The Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives changes hours of operation

The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise residents and businesses of changes to The Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives’ operating hours.

Currently the location is closed under the Provincial Reopening Plan mandated January 4th, 2022. Once the facility is permitted to reopen to the public, the museum will no longer be open on Saturdays during the off-season.

Although the Museum is currently closed to visitors, community members are still able to reach Museum staff by phone or email, outlined below. Staff members are available to answer any questions between the hours of 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday to Friday.

Since the onset of the pandemic, the museum’s operating hours and visitation levels have varied significantly. Museum staff will continue to monitor the demand for off-season Saturday operating hours once a more typical tourism activity resumes and the provincial restrictions have been lifted.
