Winter Parking Reminder

Winter is officially here! The snowfall last night caught many residents by surprise.

Town of Penetanguishene Public Works staff were out plowing snow throughout the night to keep our municipal roads in safe condition.

As a reminder, from November 1, 2021, until April 1, 2021, between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., residents cannot park a vehicle on the side of the road, or park within any municipal parking lot as per By-law No.2012-23.

Any vehicle found in contravention of the above noted restrictions may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense and enforced in the manner provided by the Repair and Storage Liens Act.
