Special Committee of the Whole 

  • Committee received a delegation from Sonia Ladouceur, Executive Director of Shelter Now regarding funding for new supportive housing.
  • Committee discussed the changes in the 2022 Budget in the Draft #2 report.  Committee provided amendments to the budget to presented at the next Budget meeting scheduled for November 24, 2021.  

Special Council

  • Council approved all the initial acceptance of the municipal services and to enter into a Subdivision Agreement with 2704657 Ontario Inc. for the 40 Thompsons Road subdivision upon the fulfilment of the requirements.
  • Council convened in Closed Session (private) to receive a verbal update from the Chief Administrative Officer regarding the CNCC Policing Costs Next Steps and authorized staff to proceed as directed within the in-camera session.
