Update: Penetanguishene Suspending the Reduced Work Week Program

Update: Given the Province’s re-opening framework, and the need to re-implement services for our community, the Town is suspending the Reduced Work Week program effective June 14, 2020 for all Town staff. Staff will continue to focus on immediate tasks and areas that are maintaining areas that are highly traveled over the course of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Notice of Ditching - Therrien Court and Alma Street

The Town of Penetanguishene Roads Division and Morden Construction will be ditching (a long, narrow excavation made in the ground to assist with draining or irrigating land) on Therrien Court and Alma Street, starting Wednesday, April 29th, 2020 to Friday, May 1, 2020.

COVID-19 Enforcement

Penetanguishene is committed to following the orders of the Provincial Government and taking any additional measures it deems necessary to control the spread of the COVID19 virus. Everyone must do his or her part and knowing the rules and who to contact if you have questions is a great start. Spring Clean Up Has Started

The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to advise the Town residents that Spring Clean Up has started. We have a route we will be following starting with High Traffic Areas. This process can take up to six (6) weeks to complete every street in Town.
